Josefiak Appointed As New PVCH Foundation Trustee

(April 22, 2014)  During the April 21st, Pawnee County Commissioners Meeting, Richard Josefiak was officially appointed as the new Pawnee Valley Community Hospital Foundation’s Board Trustee, filling the seat of former trustee Glenn Mull. Josefiak’s will serve out Mull’s term which originally was a three year appointment.  “I am a big believer in the hospital,” shared Josefiak. “This is something that we needed to have and I appreciate the opportunity to serve as a Foundation Trustee. When asked, I knew this was something I wanted to be a part of.”

Richard was born and raised in Pawnee County and attended Pawnee Heights School in Rozel. He and his wife Laurie, of thirty-five years, have four children. Two daughters, Erin Josefiak of Rozel, Nikki Larson who resides in LaCrosse along with her husband Aaron and twin daughters; and two sons, Kory Josefiak and his wife Heather and two sons, and Ty Josefiak, all of Rozel.

Josefiak is a third generation farmer in Pawnee County and through the years has been active in Pawnee County 4-H, the Rozel PRIDE Program and Sacred Heart Church of Larned. Laurie serves as the Pawnee Heights School Board President.

“We are pleased to have Richard join the Foundation Trustees, bringing with him new insights on how we can expand healthcare to meet the needs of those in Pawnee County,” stated Linda Henderson, Foundation Director. “I appreciate his willingness to volunteer both his time and expertise for the benefit of those in Pawnee County.”
